Under the hood... support - sway bars?

OK... I am now questioning myself because I think I caught something, and I can't remember if something was there or not...

As you look at the engine compartment... on the driver side there is a small support bar which goes from the front to the drivers side quarter panel. I just noticed that I do not have one on the passenger side, that would go over the airfilter box. Anyone else notice this???? Or am i crazy and missing a part?



Apparently I am not crazy... Notice the bar on the drivers side, going over the battery? Why is there not one on the passenger side???

That bar is the battery hold down.

I don't think there is one that fits over the air filter, at least on my 02. I have never seen one there. Hope this helps, Erik

Yep, that's the battery hold down bracket.

are they year specific? what year are we talking about here, my 02 doesn't have one and never has. Erik

My '03 LTZ has just the battery side.

04 LTZ and it is only on the battery on mine.
