Just got back form NYIAS

Just got back from the New York International Auto Show. It was great as usual, but there have been better ones. Not much was there to be excited about, I mean, there were years where the Auto Show kicked ass. This one however wasn't as good. Not too many new things out. As my dad said, it's a dead year for the auto industry and I have to agree with him this time. I was still in heaven 'cuz pfft, duh, I'm an auto enthusiast . So people who are in the area, I still recommend 'yall to go but just want to tell you, if you think this show was great or it sucked, the NYIAS has been better before and have no doubt that there will be better ones in the future.

What sucked was: MY DAMN CAMERA BATTERY DIED HALF WAY THROUGH. GAH! Pisses me off. Not only that, I had to take pics on my phone camera and I'm having trouble uploading them. >.<

So pics will be soon. I'll get the ones off my camera then ill post the ones from my phone later.

Boy, you need to be more prepared; get two sets of batteries. (I did when the show was in my area)

Glad to hear you had a great time.

OK! Here we go. I had to resize them for AF pleasure. So if anyone wants a pic, PM me. They're a good 1600 by 1200 pixels, and they work very well as a desktop wallpaper, however some of them are too fuzzy for it. But we'll see.

Lets start:
Lexus's new IS350 (sorry bout the low focus)

New Lexus GS430 (this car is tight!)

New Saturn Sky (A neat looking little car, style looks cool)

Toyota FT SX Concept

Toyota FJ Cruiser (front resembles old Land Cruisers)

Some Pod thing from Toyota lol

Jaguar Super V8 Special Edition Concept(Only 100 destined to be made! Pricing and etc still not available.

Jaguar Super-Lightweight Coupe Concept(Supposed to be the new platform for the new XK)

New Range Rover Sport Supercharged with that Jag V8 in it and all the cool accessories on it

Land Rover LR3 G4 Land Rover Challenge Edition (I'd like to take that thing through mud, snow, dirt, you name it lol)

Aston Martin's new DB9 Roadster

And Coupe

Aston Martin Vanquish

Ford GT (I think the concept was better looking)

Carrol Shelby is back with the GT500 with 500HP!

And a new Ford GR1 Concept

Ford Explorer Sport Trac Concept

Lincoln Motorcycle chopper by Orange County I think

Original 1932 (I think) Lincoln Zephyr

New Lincoln Zephyr release

One of my absolute favorites, the Volkswagen Phaeton W12

Audi A8 W12

New Mazda MX-Crossport Concept

Another one of my favorite displays: The Maybachs

New Bentley Flying Spur

New Ferrari F430 (damn kid ran in the way when I was takin a pic)

Nissan 240SX tuner with a Silvia S12 front conversion kit it looks like

Scion tC Tuner by Alpine Electronics

DUB City Chrysler 300C Hemi with Scissor doors

More info here: http://www.autoshowny.com/

My phone pics will come later. Enjoy. Again, if any of 'yall want it in full 1600 by 1200 size for a wallpaper, just PM me!

That Gt500 is supercharged if my eyes aren't fooling me.

I'll bet you 5 bucks Caroll shelby never touched it.
Or he "Designed the driveline"
which means basically "He didn't do anything"

Really a pity, that ford sucks so much.

anyhow, nice pics, thanks for sharing, and kill the kid in front of the 430 (I Love the f430 )

I went on the preview days, Im still working on getting my pics up. Yours look good thought, I thought the ferrari display made them look really bland so I was wondering what you thought.
