The service engine light on my 99 Infiniti I30t remains on but I have no discernable problem. When my mechanic checked for codes none were present so he reset the light and the next day it came on again and has been on ever since. Please help if you have any ideas. Thanks.

Get smbdy else to read the code. If no hlp, then all electronics PM should be done, starting from voltage checks, sensor tests: with 10$ gauge DIY voltage measurement from battery terminals is first step. Next is: http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/748507/14
