after boost?

now that im boosted, i need to mod more... and im not even done being boosted, but anyways back on topic, what would you guys do first if you were me:

this summer, ill probably be able to spend about 1 grand on the car out of the money i make... would you

1. Header, test pipe, exhaust
2. Injectors, E-manage, fuel pump
3. stage 2 clutch, resurface flywheel, obx lsd

now, i wish i could do all of this in one summer, but i will probably only be able to do one, im leaning towards number 2 because then i can put on my 8psi pulley, and tune it right, and probably net like 35 whp. As for number 3, i dont even know how long my stock clutch is going to hold to even 6psi, and finally for number 1, who the hell has a supercharger but no intake or exhaust....
ps. i had an aem cai and a greddy sp, ever since i took them off and sold them (bad mistake - dont ask) i swear my engine cant breath in vtec.

Re: after boost?

I'll take 2 Bob!!

Those are some tough decisions. Can I mix and match. Like say: Header, Exhaust, Clutch? That would be my choice for you. But, it all depends on what will cost you the least and most out of each category. But do what is best to save some money into your pocket. Just in case anything goes wrong. L8...

Re: after boost?

i have a supercharger with no exhaust. I just finally ordered a header for my car. But if i were you id be more worried about putting all that extra power to the ground first. Do motor and tranny mounts, maybe some suspension and trans work. Then add more power, otherwise your just gonna spin and hop all over the place.

Re: after boost?

Testpipe, clutch, LSD, header (I assume you went SC of your thinking about a header). That should be around a thousand, then go injectors and fuel management.

Re: after boost?

very simple to do, most of the time you dont even need to put a jack under the engine. Some times its a full new motor mount, other times it just adds to the mount. Usually cost between 15-50 dollars per mount. It prevents the engine from moving, which reduces wheel hop and puts a few more lbs of TQ and HP to the ground. Very good investment for the money. But make sure you do your research first, if the mounts are too stiff. YOu will get horrible vibrations inside the car and the dash.
