HID Headlight problems

BLACKI own a Techone 12000K H4 HID conversion kit from Hidynamic.com. 12000K lights should produce a violet purple light, however mine produce a white light with a tint of purple. The bulbs, when first ignited produce the super purple color, but then within 20 seconds the lights warm up and turn white. The first week I had the lights installed everything was great and the color was really purple. However, since then I have nothing but problems. Could this be happening because the battery or alternator is not powerful enough to operate the bulbs and ballasts at full capacity? Or could there be another problem? Any ideas would be a great help. Thanks

Re: HID Headlight problems

Your suggestion of an alternator problem seems likely...were these lights made specifically for the Focus?

No, the ballasts are a general setup from Techone and the bulbs themselves are a general H4 bulb that fits the focus. Does anyone know where I can find a high powered replacement altenator?
