I'm about to purchase a used 1999 Sebring Lxi.
It has about 50000 miles and the seller asks for $8995.
While I was doing research on the 99 Sebring Lxi, generally consumers complaint about spending tons of time and money to get their 'sweet hear' fixed. Major problems are either the transmission or engine on their Sebring failure after a relatively low milelage. Also, minor problems such as the door panel and the material leaking from the door fame that are non repairable.

Are these manufacturing problems can't never be fixed? Could any one of the Sebring owners give me some comments on it whether it is worthwile or not?
