Re: Removal of rear spoiler
If U sure there are no hidden bolts or screws still attaching the spoiler to the deck, I suggest a heat gun, CAREFULLY used around the base [so ya don't bubble the paint] to heat the glue so ya can begin to loosen it fron deck. DO NOT rush this method!!!

Re: Removal of rear spoiler
I still think it a few bolts ya missed, check under the trunk-lid at the areas where the spoiler mounts, I honestly never heard of glue being used, to hold down a spoiler.
I think ya have some sealant stick instead of a glue. |

Re: Removal of rear spoiler
my 96 was sort of glued on there...it was more like a double sided tape, anyways go to autozone or someplace and get adhesive remover, i did this and sprayed it on there and it came off with little effort.

Re: Removal of rear spoiler
Yeh when I pulled the spoiler off of my 01, there was some double-sided adhesive that held it down, plus the bolts. I wouldn't use a heat gun. I was able to just eventually get it off by prying under there with a scraper kind of deally (not sure what it's called). But then again I had it repainted after I removed the spoiler - so any scratches I made were covered.
