85 lebaron - mitsu motor - choke linkage was broken and repaired. still not running well. Looking for info on adjusting carb or troubleshooting problem - is there as a way to pull computer codes?

I've been told you can go to autozone and they will read the codes for you...

Oh geez. If you go to Autozone with the old pre-OBD1 system to get your codes read, they are prolly going to drop to their knees laughing.
Use the "key dance" method. Directions here: http://www.allpar.com/fix/codes.html Good Luck!

If it`s carb, there are no computer codes. Those chokes can be a bit of a trick to set.... I fumbled through it once, with some luck..... that`s the coolant fed choke? I`d suggest seeing if anyone around is famalira with those carbs... I became very lucky, a good friend of mine is a mechanic who knows those carbs... they are tricky. Carbs in general nowadays, it`s hard to find someone who knows.
the key on-off method won`t work, there`s nothing there. Ryan |
