head gasket

i spoke with a friend and he f@cked his crx up. He was racing and he cracked his radidator and blew up his muffler. He got the raidiator fixed and the mechanic said that he might have cracked the block or have a busted head gasket...

how can we find out whats meseed up ? my friend said htat smoke comes out the block. if its cracked does any one know where we can come across a d15 dpfi block..with out a head ?

If it's a blown headgasket and you want to keep the same motor just rebuild it. As far as there being a crack in the block or head, i'd say you would either be able to se oil or antifreeze or the antifreeze mixing w/oil, but you can have the same w/ a blown headgasket depending on where it is blown. Just look it over good and do some compression test to see what you can find
