Jimmy Distributor Caps
Aftermarket Dist. Caps have been being manufactured UNVENTED !!!
OEM Caps are VENTED so moisture doesn't build up under the cap causing the "random or multiple engine misfire" code and/or poor performance. Apparently the problem has been rectified. Make sure a VENTED cap is purchased when replacing it.

Actually, I have found that aftermarket dist. brand ACCEL has worked better on my 96 Jimmy than the OEM AC Delco.
