Another H22 Question
I am looking for someone who actually owns a Civic hatchback with a H22 motor swap or someone who has actually ridden in one. Is the power worth the swap? Are you happy with it? Or would the b18c1 be the better way to go?

Re: Another H22 Question
I've ridden in both a 4dr with an H22a swap and a hatch with a GS-R swap. Hands down the H22a was faster and pulled harder. You should pm SiGNAL748, he's got an h22a swap.

h22
i own a 92 hatch with an h22. i could not be more happy with it. it pulls hard all through every gear. the torque feels un-natural in a civic, but its great. my friends who have ridden in it are all amazed at the power. i love how everyone always says ..." [i]the h22 wont stand up to my b16 powerd civic in the roadcourse, or handle as well as my civic," but thats not the point of an h22. it is mainly for all out straight line drag racing. i also own a 89 crx with a b16 and theres no comparison of the two in corners, but you'd be surprised how well my hatch actually does in tight corners. definetly try riding in both types of set ups before you choose which to spend your money on, but i'd go with the h22. in its stock form its already a destroyer. pm me if you want to know more.
