97 explorer shifting from rev to drive
Lately I have been having problems when I put my 97 explorer in reverse to back down the drive then shift in to drive. When you put it in drive it
it acts like it is in neutral when you step on the gas pedal. Then after a short time it finally kicks into gear. Does it sound like my trans is totally bad or just a linkage problem. I just had the trans flushed about 3 months ago at local dealership.

the flush was a waste of $$$$$$ playing with the linkage is a good start
,,,,,,to taking the trans out to get it fixed!!!! PS.....tranny-in-a-can is a waste of money TOO!!!!!!! [email protected]
