Grinding Like Noise When Turn Steering Wheel to Right,Gets worse Longer you Drive.
I have a problem, when i start the car and take off everything sounds good, but when i drive for about 10m minutes I get grinding like noise coming from what I believe is the right wheel. The steering wheel also pulls slightly to the right.
The longer i drive it(20 minutes or so) the harder it pulls to the right, and the louder the noise gets. I jacked the car up and from top to bottom I tried to find movement in the wheel, also tried to find movement side to side, all seems good and tight. 92 bonneville SE |

Re: Grinding Like Noise When Turn Steering Wheel to Right,Gets worse Longer you Drive.
It sounds to me like you have a brake caliper that is not fully releasing and when the rotor heats up during normal driving it is causing the wheel to pull to the right. That is also why you hear the grinding. This is also why you haven't been able to tell anything when you jack the vehicle up. By the time you get everything jacked up the brake has cooled enough to where the brake releases.

GTP,Thanks,my thoughtwas wheel bearing or brake pad,as it is affected by temp rise,I will go the easy way first and do a brake pad change and then see what that does, thanks,Mike
