79 cordoba

After my car runs a while and turn it off and try to turn it back on again it won't start until it cools down. its not getting any fire to it??? Help

first, make sure your air filter isn't clogged. You do have an electronic ignition, so make sure the ballast resistor which is mounted on the driver's side fenderwell is not getting too hot. Worse case scenario, your carb pump circuit is not pumping enough fuel into the fuel horn.

Yes it has a electronic ignition we did rebuild the carb. This is on a dirt track car.

you don't by any chance have an aftermarket ignition like MSD or anything like that, do you?
