Well, gotta rebuild the front of the Teal Terror... Again...

Well, some of you know I was involved in a hit and run..(I was the one hit in my 95 Blazer) The kid's mom payed the lowest of 3 auto body bids...(2400 bux)...Of course with the exception of the painting, I'm doing all the work myself...
You can see the original story here: http://forums.s-series.org/viewtopic.php?t=39312

Well, I started accuiring parts this week, and ordered some tonight... Here are some pics of what I got so far... Last parts needed are the bumper and the fenders which I pick up tomorrow... Painting will be about 500 bux for the grille, bumper, fenders and hood...This is with me doing all the assembly (cake)... So without further ado... the pics...

98+ Grille and bumper valance...(keeping the valance black and painting the grille black, bumper will be the body color "Teal")

Cost: OEM--Grille $111.00, Valance-$52.04

Decided to change out the fluted headlights for these...(Didn't want the angel eyes cause they're way too rice, and projectors are useless unless you're going HID...This is a good compromise)

Cost: $149.00

Figure I might as well get the BL out of the way, will make it easier for disconnecting the transmission once I dump in the 5.7 vorec from a 99 escalade I purchased... The new engine goes in in may...

My baby... 40k on it, needs to be cleaned up though, I've had this engine for a while Paid $800 bux for it... All the accessories included...

Cost: 189.00

And since my body mounts are dry rotted to hell, I got these as well.

Cost $65.00

98+ Bumper-Aftermarket new, not pictured...$125.00
Fenders-Used..perfect condition..$50.00

Total for replacement parts needed as per actual damage...$339.00

Total for painting Grille, bumper, fenders, hood....$500.00

Total for goodies... $403.00

Total pocketed from 2400.00 check...$1000.00
