Is there any difference between a VNT Piston and Rod and a regular 90 2.2ltr piston and rod? in other words are the main engine components the same? any help would be great!!!! Thanks

Yes!
There is a big difference between the TBI internals and the internals used in the Turbo IV. The crank is forged, the rods are forged, and the pistons are cast but are lower compression than TBI pistons. The only thing that is the same is the block. The TBI crank is cast, the rods are cast, and the pistons are cast but are higher compression. Don't try to interchange those parts. |

So Where could i find a Set of Fordged Pistons a Rods..... or if they are to rare what could i do?????
