Pics of the crx with the swap done.

Ok so I finally got my b16 in the crx and have it running good. I snapped some shots today while getting it tuned and idleing good. I drove it around the block twice, still breaking in the clutch so no beating on it yet. Vtec kicks in and no cel's. I cant wait to see how much of a difference the new clutch and lightened flywheel do. Heres the pics.

Looking like fun.

Why is the front end flat black? Whats with your rim situation? Did you have the B16 in there before, or did you just get it completed?

Congrats, its a good start fo sho!

EDIT: No exhuast? Its so fun when VTEC kicks in.

Why is the front end flat black? I'll show you.

^^^^^ Thats what it looked like when I first got the car. So i got all stock stuff and painted it flat black, the fenders came off a teal crx and the bumper was primer gray when I got it.

The rim situation is, I havent gotten around to putting my new rims on the back yet, and I want to get a new tire for one of the rear rims.

I had the b16 in my old civic, the one in my sig, but I hit a deer with it doing 90mph, and I found someone to trade it for the crx. I just got the motor in the crx this past week and got around to getting it running 100% today.

And it has exhaust, but only up to the axle, the kid I got the car from had some ricey axle back on it and he wanted to keep it so I didnt care. I have this for it though:

That will get on as soon as I have time to go get it piped with 2 1/4.

Re: Pics of the crx with the swap done.

I dont have the muffler on yet, so i cant tell you how it sounds. And its not a simple bolt on, its for 2 1/4 inch piping so im gonna have it piped at the muffler shop. I got it cause I don't want a fart can, and it looks stock.

Thanks for the compliments guys! keep them coming! lol
