VIS carbon fiber hoods

does VIS make good quality CF hoods? i'm looking for one (OEM style) for my 96 EX.

u should really try fiber images, they make good quality hoods, i have one on my 99 SiR

Yes VIS makes a very good quality hood...

thats my hood, its made by fiber images. i paid $525 shipped. a local shop around here wanted $600 for a vis, and i think the fiber images looks better.

are u serious? $600 for a VIS hood, that is nuts, the shop I got to sells full kits from VIS at $550. Carbon hoods sell about $350 from VIS.

VIS IN MY OPINION A BETTER HOOD THAN FIBER IMAGES, VERY STURDY AND IS UV PROTECTED SO IT WILL NOT FADE OVER THE YEARS, THE MOST BANG FOR THE BUCK, AND $600 IS WAY TOO MUCH FOR THE HOOD, $475 IS MORE LIKE IT. IF ANYBODY IN ATLANTA IS SELLING HOODS FROM VIS FOR $350 THEY ARE LOSING MONEY, MAKE SURE IT IS REAL WITH THE VIS TAG UNDER THE HOOD.
