Pin Striping

i just took off my pin striping off my car about 10 minutes ago, and now i got the sticky resedue still on my car. What would be the best to use to get that sticky stuff of my car without hurting the paint? I was going to use goo-gone, but thought i should ask first?

The goo-gone stuff should work fine. I used it to get rid of the 3m crap after taking off my side moldings. Just be sure not to rub the piss out of it or let it sit on for too long or it will fade the paint.

Re: Pin Striping

yea I hate pinstiping when I bought my cav the dealer asked if I wanted them to pinstripe the car. I told him hell no if you stripe it you might as well keep the car.

Re: Pin Striping

It's a 2000 Forrest Green color Cavy. And no the color wasn't darker or lighter. Honestly, you would'nt be able to tell I had pinstriping on there if you were to look at it.
