Rear noise at 30 and above

Hey everyone!!

Have an annoying sound from the rear when driving over 30mph.
It sounds like a tornado back there. The wind seems to be going through my rear and makes this howling noise. The noise does change depending on the conditon of the pavement.

Was thinking it was those ultra cheap $30.00 tires we put on there recently. So has anyone else had noise difference depending on the tires in the back. Funny thing is the front is quiet with the same cheap tires. Air pressure is just fine, just changed the shocks in rear, struts in front, alignment is fine, brakes are good. Im trying to blame the cheap tires so I can get better ones sooner.

Please help. Thanks

Check if the back windows are closed and back door rubber seals are good, you may just be getting road noise.

Re: Rear noise at 30 and above

The sound is originating from outside the vehicle, near the rear right, its not inside the cabin.
Its like a groaning sound.I was thinking the muffler but it only does it at high speeds.
