Which one would YOU pick?

Check this article:

Hey, it's a variation of the Honda VS. Mustang thing.

Mods:This is also posted in OT. I did this to solicit opinions, and there are a lot of OT folks who don't come here, who are very opinionated.

Uneasy choices

So the Lotus was faster on the track, street, slalom, and road test. No real suprises there, being that it does weigh 1/2 of the stang. But I'd still have to choose the stand based on principal, sure you could get a Lotus and whoop up on everybody, but it'd be more fun in the stang and you could still whoop up on everybody(cept those people who got the lotus)

Id get the lotus for sure. Everyone and their sister have mustangs. Besides the lotus is cheaper and looks better.

I would have to say the Lotus. I think you would get much more attention in the Lotus. Also, the Lotus was just faster...

How is that a bad thing, why would you want to ride around in a big sluggish moving turd... (not refering to the mustang, just heavy cars in general)

I think he was saying that was a good thing, and not surprising, but he'd still have to pick the Mustang. I would go with the Lotus simply b/c I HATE Mustangs. It's just the way they look, and the fact that 4 of 5 people around here drive one. Only thing is that you never know when it's going to rain!!

Sorry, another missunderstanding. That seems to occure a lot on message boards.

Chicks dig mustangs though, so more power to ya I guess.

They have a lightweight top available for Elises. If you look closer at the Elise pics, you'll notice the handle for the window rollup(no power windows for lighter weight). So no excuses.

That's true but then you gotta cut off half the stang and put wheel bars in the back to hold it up. Then I say we try this again.

damn i'd take the lotus, the only way you could use a b18c5 to kick the ass end around or whip forward donuts in the kmart parking lot. hahaha.

Hey, welcome back man. I think I remember when you were still talking about that swap you got now, I think.

Anyways, you must have some good stories with that fast REX of yours...share man, don't be greedy.

Yea, I've read that. The Lotus is half the size and weighs half the weight of the stang...but what about the engine? It has twice the size less than the stang engine (1.8 to a 3.6?) and a 4 cyl. to a V8? This is an example of why Stangs are so gay. I hate mustangs for a reason, but the body is pretty nice. Mostly because that stang owner thinks they have the best car and sh*t. But import all the way.
