rough idle 240 sx 90 and injector color marking info.

Does anyone have an info on the color marking on 240sx 90 injectors.
I was shopping on line and there seem to be some differences between manual or automatic or even the piston number. Cant find anything on the tech manual about it and I thought the injectors are common for each pistons. This is on the stock engine.

In addition,
Have been having some problem with severe rough idle with my fastback 240 90 lately - likely fuel system delivery. The plugs are always getting wet with fuel and very rough idle - feels like two cylinder working only. In addition, when I slowly pull the spark plug wires on number 2 or 4 the engine stall. No change when I slowly remove the wires on 1 and 3 pistons - I can hear the ticking caused by the spark jumping from the plug wire to the spark plugs on each cases. Timing is normal. Mass flow meter is new. Have not change the o2 sensor yet but, I dont get the same very rough idle when I try to replicate the problem on my coupe. Disconnected the o2 sensor and the still rough idle. Compression test are within normal range for all the pistons. I dont get vacumm at higher rev on the EGR. But unable to replicate the same rough idle on my coupe by diconnecting the egr vaccum line so i dont think that is the main problem. No error codes on the ecu but the canadian model does not have code for injector leak. It seems interesting that number 1 and 3 pistons may not be firing at low Idle. Tried replacing plugs and wires. No osciloscope so I cant see what the pulse signals are going to the injectors.

Anyone have similar experience with this rough idle and with possible misfire on 1 and 3 cylinders or 2 and 4 cylinder. No whiite smoke down the tail pipe to indicate a head problem. Any interesting suggestions before I start getting really curios.

Thanks

Desi

Re: rough idle 240 sx 90 and injector color marking info.

could be possible problems with the distributor... sometimes deposits collect at the rotor and your ignition timing gets off.

if your spark plug is wet your piston rings could be worn or the valve seals could be bad... try checking those.

For the injectors you could check the fuel pump or manually check each one by connecting a fuel line and supply it with power to visually check the spray. Oh and i'm not too sure about the injector colors/specific-locations.
