01 Eclipse GT Vs. 95 Eclipse Gs-T

Well today i got the chance 2 race my friend. i went 2 his house 2 show him the system that my uncle has. i got 2 his house he gets in his car and says that he wants 2 race me. i didnt feel like it cuase it wasnt my car. well anyways he has just a Exhaust and thats it and its automatic. the car i drove was a 01 eclipse gt v-6. it has that sportramic transmission ( i think thats what its called ) well its auto or stick. so we get behind a school its pretty dark. its straight for like 1/4 mile. we raced and for my surprise i got the jump i switched 2 second gear and i was half a car on him. man his turbo sounds nice. then i switched to 3rd and i had like 1 car on him. we raced again and the outcome was the same. it was a fun night. and right now im just waiting 2 turn 12 so i can go to Ontario lol. latez

Cool, man, sound like a blast. i've raced several newer 2001-02 V6's with that sportmatic and i can barely pull away from them . Some with mods have spanked my butt pretty good! Keep racing.

That T-25 he has in his GS-T damn near spools instantly so that's not the issue. If it was a larger turbo then it wouldn't have been even close. My guess is the auto hurt him, and something isn't right with his car because 2g turbos usually waste the 3g's, V6's included.

i kno 2 ppl that have red eclipses one is a 95' gs-t 5 spd,and a 2000 V6 5 spd. the 95 is stock and the 01 has intake,exhaust,and a 50 shot.

i raced both of them the V6 was way quicker bc he sprayed.

anyways i raced a few auto GT's im a little bit faster.the man. are a lil slower than a spec.
