Have questions on '94 5.7L 4x4 Blazer

I am looking at purchasing a '94 Blazer with 69k miles. Can anyone provide tips on what to look out for/be aware of with these vehicles? This will be my first Chevy, and I'm looking forward to it. Thanks in advance-

Look for maintanence records and check over the engine bay and see how often it was maintained.

Pull the dipstick, if the oil is black as tar, you know it wasn't really taken care of.

Usually, people that don't maintain their vehicles won't care too much even about the oil.

^ well said, just a fyi for anyone looking at disel though, a disel moter will turn oil black quick, so the trick with oil color should be kept to gasolien engins only...
