Blinkers just stopped working?

Hello All.

Both blinkers just stopped working on my daughters 1999 New Beetle. Everything else seems to work fine, just no blinkers.

Not a mechanic by any means. I went to Schucks auto thinking maybe it is a bad flasher or relay? They found nothing in the parts computers for the car and just kinda looked at me with a blank gaze in thier eyes and said I guess you need to take it to a dealer.

I tested the bulbs and all test good.

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this problem.

See if the hazard lights are out also, The T/S & hazard relay is built into the switch & commonly fails.
