New Air Intake

I have a 2002 and I am interested in the possibility of replacing the stock air intake with a high flow aftermarket system. I have searched high and low and cannot find a manufacturer that offers one for the sonata. Anyone have any suggestions? Can I use the one for the Tiburon 2.7L V6 since my sonata has the same engine?

i would think your engine bay is setup differently.
so the kit may work, but would need a good amount of adjusting to get it to fit in your engine bay.

I did find one made by Weapon R that says it is for the Sonata 2000-2004 models. Anyone know if this really will work, and how easy it is to install?

Hey rb, did you have any luck finding out any more info on that weapon r intake system for the sonata..

let me know and where you can get it.. and if it is easy to install..

everyone, please let me know what else I can do to improve performance of my sonata.. it is the 2.4 4 cyl and i love it, especially at todays gas prices but would like little more horse power and mileage
