Exclamation Leaking Tranny fluid

hi i just noticed that where my axle goes into the tranny this is fluid leaking. I was thinking it would be the CV joint or boot. Has anyone had this problem before or know what it is?
Thank Paul

Probably the output seal is bad.

Re: Leaking Tranny fluid

What color is the fluid? Red? if so, yes it's tranny fluid. Aside from the fluid, is your boot cracked / have u experienced any abnormal symptoms while driving?

There should be an inner and outer seal for the axle shaft that goes into the trans, you will probably need to have both replaced if that's your case... your axle could have shifted also... keep adding fluid as needed just to ensure that no extra damage can be done...
