Hello All,
I am looking to change the headlight bulbs that my 2002 TB has. Before I do I want get your opinion on which bulbs you would recommend. Also, since the HL are always on I just want make sure no one has had problems with the wiring since the new bulbs will be brighter...I don't want to change the wiring harness or headlight assembly should something happen... Thanks... MGG1104 |

Sylvanis bulbs are supposed to be great. There are other threads on here that talk about them.
I went on E-Bay & bought a set that are 80watt Lows & 100watt highs & I have had NO trouble at all. Much brighter/whiter than stock. Kelvin rating on the bulbs for mine are something like 8000k. Can't remember who's product I used.....but for the past couple of cars, I haven't had any trouble or blown lights from buying off of E-Bay. If you are planning on getting different fog lamp bulbs, there are threads on that as well.

Re: Headlight Bulbs
I installed a high vis bulb (only 55watts) on my ltz and it fried the plugs. Not sure if anyone else has seen this. The wiring to the lo beams are awfully flimsy gauge.
