normal temp?
ok just got a 92 eclipse GS 1.8 SOHC automatic with 143K miles for $500. and was wondering if the normal coolant temp should be right in the middle?
thanks sorry for such a noob question but i just got the car 1 hour ago. What do you think good deal? perfect interior

Sounds like a pretty good deal to me...
Having the needle right in the middle sounds pretty good to me...I think that is a universal "sweet spot" for all cars!!! lol

The guage is useless. Everything from 140 to 240 degrees is in the middle of the guage. By the time the needle starts to actually move, you'll be seeing steam. Useless.
