I was wondering, which one is the Intake Air Sensor(IAT) on a 91-96 escort, the smaller sensor that goes straight into the air box, or the bigger sensor on the metal housing outside the air box connected to the intake tube?

If you have a 1.9L SEFI system the large sensor housing aft of the air filter box and attached to the fwd end of the air intake tube is the Vane air meter.
I normally associate the IAT with a CFI system.
