New to the forum! Looking for an El Camino!
Hi, I'm new to the forum, so I'm going to introduce myself. I'm Amanda from upper east Tennessee, I'm soon to be 23, been a lover of El Camino's my whole life, I'm a young mom to a wonderful 5 year old son Matthew, who also followed in mommy's footsteps and likes to point out EL Caminos now too when we see them on the road. I don't know a whole lot about cars/trucks/muscle machines, but enough to get by and to know how much I love them (yeah I'm a young chicky who loves El C's, not too common where I'm from). I was raised around 3 1972 SS El Camino's (my parent's trucks), and now i have decided it's time I had my own. One small problem, not many for sale around here. I'm not having much luck. Either people are trying to seel rust buckets, take-to-much-to-fix-them-up-not-worth-it-to-me trucks, or they want an arm and a leg and blood sample as well to buy them. I have maybe seen about 3 I'd like to have, but they are way to far for me to go get. Can anyone help? I'm actually looking to find a 1972 in good condition, don't matter if it's an SS or not, that is drivable with good engine, and nice interior and not too much work left to do on it. Maybe one that hasn't quite been finished yet, like no paint job yet, would be good. I'm being very picky on what colors and what truck i pick...this is my dream machine after all, and i think i should be picky. I don't really want red or green, and NO ORANGE (ex-boyfriend has an orange Elky, don't want to hear him say I copied...his isn't that great, I want mine to blow his away when I get her done
.) The truck I get will go to a great home with a gal you will appreciate it as the classic it is. If anyone out there has one for sale, or know how I can find one, please let me know. Thanks ahead of time, and great to be part of the forum!!! I think I'm gonna like it here! ![]() ~Love from Tennessee, Amanda (I can also be found at [email protected]!) |

im getting my 72 elcamino ready for sale right now, its got a 383ci engine and a fully redone interior. i even put leather mercedies seats in it. its blue with white stripes and new exhaust. The car had the potential to be a hot rod but it has a wide gear ratio. i live in dallas TX, you can reach me at 469-366-9698 if your interested. long distance, sry
