2002 Taurus ses Gem module
My driver side window does not go up or down.The dealer says it's a faulty Gem module.Is this easy to replace,or should I have the dealer do it?

its very easy. its bolted to the back of the fuse box under dash. remove the 2 nuts holding the fuse box to the firewall. slide the fuse box/gem module assembly down. unclip all the gem module connectors and remove the single screw holding the gem module to the fuse box. you do not need to remove the fuse box wiring connectors but it would be easier. total time is about 10 minutes.
