What Body Kit?

My mom just bought a new car, so she gave me her 1995 Pontiac Sunfire.

I have known this was coming for about, 6 months now, and have saved $2000 for when the day came. Here it is. Now I was just wondering if anyone knew a good body kit for a 1995 Pontiac Sunfire.

I have seen the Drifter body kit, and really like it, but I don't want to rush and waste my money.

Could someone give me some advice?

Eeek, that was the first body kit I ever saw for a Sunfire, and I was going to buy it, but then I found others. I just got my new RkSport catalog a few days ago in the mail, and that body kit is like $1,000.

The Drifter is like $750, and looks 3x better in my opinion.

Good luck with getting your body kit though.

Ahhh, but did you go to www.Carcustoms.net? streetfire is $905 from them, shipped, any questions ask for KARO.
try here as well http://www.whiteboy.ca/browse.asp?Cat=37

tell them hotbug1776 from the JBO sent you. real nice place, they will work with you. they have a few different kits, including the drift kit.

Wow, I really like the first website. I think I will most likely buy my body kit from there. I like that they have clearer pictures of the actual body kit...

I now see that I like the Explosion body kit too.

Thanks for telling me about that site.

Re: What Body Kit?

i really like how the streetfire kit looks, but yes, as previously noted, its not cheap. the only really good advise im going to off you is DO NOT GET A FIBERGLASS KIT! eurithane is very flexible, very adaptive to heat, cold, bumps and nicks and in general wont break as easy as fiberglass will.

That's what I've heard. Is eurithane more expensive though? And if so, by how much? It seems that every body kit I see says it's made out of fiberglass..

yes, eurithane is more expensive, but i dont think its a huge amount of money more than fiberglass. get eurithane, you'll be happier ieven if it does cost more

Most body kits I see though are made out of fiber glass. Know a good body kit for the sunfire that comes in urethane?

Re: What Body Kit?

the Streetfire is urethane

$905 shipped (for the GT version) from www.carcustoms.net ask for Karo, tell him I sent you and that I'm from the "Org". He may remember me.

Re: What Body Kit?

not something off ebay... if you really want a good idea of what the kit is going to look like, most racing shops deal with body kits and probobly have a few pictures and models. Not too sure about sunfire kits though - ive been in eclipse world for the past year and now that its done-for im back to my sunfire. i know the shops i went to had alot of pictures for my eclipse.

Re: What Body Kit?

I'm starting to like the Blitz kit. I might buy it.

Btw, look into DuraFlex. It's supposedly better and cheaper than urethane. I want my body kit to be made of it.
