Unhappy 1994 sunbird what happened to the tranny?

All of a sudden my automatic transmission was gone....no warning. Any ideas what has happened couuld it be a fuse or something? HELP?

What exactly is the transmission doing? Not pulling, not shifting gears in drive, not being able to go from park to drive, etc. Hard to say without a few more details.

10 minutes before it completly shut down it started to slip. I could hear it engaging but would not move

Well if it doesn't go into gear you need a new tranny....there's no transmission fuse. Since its a Sunbird it can't be that expensive, my friend replaced his for about $300 total I believe.
