My truck makes a clunking noise when I go around corners, or go over some sort of bump. It just started doing it, and it sounds like it's coming from the middle of my truck bed. I've never had my shocks checked, and someone thought it might be that, but I'm worried. My regular mechanic doesn't work on stuff like this. What could it be, and where should I go to have it checked?
Thanks! |

Re: Re: Truck makes a clunking noise...
The torsion bars can make a loud "popping" type noise which would come from the middle of the vehicle. Usually removing them and greasing the splines will take care of the noise if that is whats causing it.
