wierd problem with 89 h/b

OK here is the story. I took my car out for a ride yesterday ...soo i wanted to wash the car but as i was driving back home i let go of the gas so the car whould just roll in nutral but it died on me. It kept dieing on me when i let go of the gas ...the car works only if i have may rpm over 2000 to keep it alive........any ideas on what it could be .....i have a d14 dual carb the tank is full and no strange noises..... just started to die on me

possibly water in the dizzy cap. Take it off and see if there is alot of moisture in there. Check your plugs and stuff too just to make sure
