gas

i have a 2.4 v4 96 taco with 124,000 miles. i went tijuana yesturday with a full tank and when i came back home it it only had a qaurter tank. i know i was speeding alot. around 80-100 mph. well the thing is at high speeds do smaller engines waste more gas than bigger engines at higher speeds? because my mom has a v6 4runner and it doesnt waste as much as my truck but i think its cuz it has a bigger gas tank. also is it possible to put a bigger gas tank on a 96 taco?

Re: gas

Maybe your mom doesn't drive 80-100 mph. You can slow down and increase you fuel mileage by several mpg.
