Weird Noise!?!?!
I have a 92 talon Tsi FWD and today i did my first little tire spin (stupid of me i know) But now i hear a noise coming from the belt area almost like its not tight enough. And when Im driving it it sound alot like the turbo spooling up but louder. What could this be? Also at idle theres a slight clicking sound from the same area. The car runs fine i just dont want to make it worse by driving it. Anybody have a clue?

1) you have a vacuum leak somewhere... my car does that in first gear when i hammer it like crap...its like "SHWEEEEEEE" besides the turbo spooling up..which I have made be very loud.
2) That clicking sound is probably a lifter tick which is almost completely harmless. OR it could very well be crankwalk....but if it's crankwalk...your car won't live much longer...so I will say it's a lifter tick. |

Re: Weird Noise!?!?!
I drove it today and the spool up noise went away today. And the ticking sound isnt bad at all but enough to get on my nerves. How difficult is it to fix if it is lifter tick? What should i do. Would chaning my oil help? Right now im running valvoline high milage 10w30
