charcoal canister and egr

can anyone tell me how to get rid of the charcoal canister? i have no idea how to run the hoses after i remove the canister? i also remove my egr and my car now runs faster and smoother, i plugged the three hoses of the egr, is that okay? thanks its for my 87 t.

Unbolt the canister and remove it and the bracket..

There is a vacuum line going from the charcoal canister to the VSV valve (on the tstat housing) to the throttlebody.. You can plug this off anywhere along there (best place is right at the throttlebody)

the line under the canister is the vent tube from the gas tank.. It should be routed into the fender well so fumes vent out..

i got the same question i got no hoses going to the vsv anymore and the line from the firewall venting in the fender. is this ok?
