Radio problem
Hey, i had to get the jumper cables out for my car the other day, i guess i left a door slightly open. after i jumped the car, got it started, the radio no longer works. nothing at all. 95 jetta. Any ideas? do i just need to reset it or however that is, and if so, how do i do it?

It should display SAFE when you turn it on. If not try disconnecting & reconnecting the battery. Also check the fuse.

Hi same thing happen to me unplug batterie and radio not working any more except i found the radio code in car dash "used car i bought" but in book it say if try more then 15 time need to be reprogram question if it was tried more then 15 tim and i have the original code do i still need to have it repogramm??????? at car dealer

most times, they have a security feature where if the code is entered incorrectly a few times in a row, the radio locks up. I don't know for sure about VWs, but most cars you just need to let them run for an hour and the radio will reset. Then you have another 3 chances to enter the code. There is no reason to deal with the dealership unless you don't have the security code...
