Locating the Knock Sensor

Ok, i need to check my knock sensor to see what the dead is. I have a 93 si....where is it located and is it something i can do easily or what? I know its like on the wire harness somewhere on the back of the block....how do i even go about getting to it and knowing that im even looking in the correct place? Its bad enough having to mess with it, i dont need to feel like a moron too.

it is located right above the oil filter on the block...the wire harness does connect to it, but the actual sensor screws into the block....if you take it out for any reason..make sure not to tighten it up too tight...it is only supposed to be a little over hand tight or it messes up the sensor...i have an extra one if u need one...it would be a lot cheaper than ordering a new one for about $140

Re: Locating the Knock Sensor

If i mess with the knock sensor to see if its broke, too tight or whatever, is there anything i need to do...like jumping the connector? I just figured unhooking the battery would be all.
