not meant to be

well I'm pretty sure I can say goodbye to the rotary world because I am big time in the hole and I have no car...

despite all of my hoping and telling myself it wasn't the seals... it was and my newly aquired TII is done for... apex seals are gone to crap... good thing I spent 4 grand on this car so I could drive it for a month before it was dead...

the car was great fun while it lasted but I can't afford another one now that I've had 2 engines crap out on me

I just found out about 30 minutes ago so I don't know whats going to happen to it but I assume I will be parting it out because that is the only possible way I can make even the smallest bit of money on it

I also may sell it as a whole depending on what I can make on it so if anyone has an idea of what I can get for it let me know

As much as that sucks.. least you had fun w/ your first turbo dude. I havent driven my NA since last Decemeber. Dont know if its seals or just a water pump since it overheats in 5 mins..but I dont know if she'll even start or not.Havent cranked her up since then.Im broke w/ nothing to fix her. If you do ditch the rotary for a bit.. hope ya get another good car. -hugs and cries-

Unhappy

Man, this sucks. I am truly sorry to hear about this.

Maybe you will come back to rotaries when you are on surer footing?

Re: not meant to be

damn i was hoping to score some turbo parts... jk

thats good to hear.
go for a bridgeport, you got the truck to drive daily so you dont need driveability in the 7.

Re: not meant to be

porting will make the car less reliable, and more of a money pit.
but i would do it anyway, hahaha

Re: not meant to be

haha I'll get pictures of the truck and make a new thread about it cause everyone loves a ghetto little truck! haha

oh and as of now I'm thinking large street port... I'm still going to be driving both the truck and the TII once it is running
