There is a puddle of water in my trunk, soaking everything inside. It doesn't appear to be coming from the hatch, but somehow from underneath. I'm no car expert & I haven't had it looked @ yet, but I wanted to check here 2 see if anyone had any ideas how the water could be getting there...thanks!

Re: Water in trunk?
there is a drain plug for the water where the weatherstripping on the hatch contacts the car when you shut it. it's a small tube that drains down out of the car and sometimes those are plugged/kinked and cause that water to drip inside because it has nowhere to go. it's underneath the plastic and runs along the inner tire well.

Re: Water in trunk?
if its a 1g the problem could be your rear window seal. i've fixed it on 2 of mine. when it rained it would leak water into the rear plastic on the underside of the hatch then when i opened it it poured out either end.
to fix it: just pop the outside weatherstripping off the bottom of the back window and pack the window seam with silicone. let it dry for a couple hours then put the weatherstripping back on
