With line-x they are able to fill in the holes and even any dents in the metal. But I would make sure to tell line-x place about the skrew holes and that you want them to be filled in; otherwise, they may not notice.

I just had Rhino sprayed in mine (which, after seeing others with Line-x, I would recommend), and they filled all holes and flattened all bulges(mine had a toolbox and rails on it before I bought it used, too)

Re: Line-X spray questions

I had the top rails on my truck that were screwed down and the line-x filled the holes nicely. I recomend the line-x. Guarenteed 1/8" thick on the sides, 1/4" on the bottom/horizontals and for LIFE. When you get the truck back you can see the thickness.

Re: Line-X spray questions

i guess if you wanted them to they could fill in the holes. I know that when they did mine the drain holes at the front of the bed werent filles in.

Re: Line-X spray questions

my line-x is like non-skid.

When they sprayed mine they said all the origonal holes like drain holes and such would still be there. For drainage.

Re: Line-X spray questions

yea, i donno what the other guys are talkin about... my line-x is like heavy duty sand paper. From what ive seen of the rhino liner, its relativley smooth, almost like how it looks on the wheel wells of a drop in. I mean, if u have somehthing relativly small in the back of your truck its gonna slide around when you drive at high speeds and make turns and stuff. Its just a liner, not a magnet.

Re: Line-X spray questions

i called the line x dealer and they said the holes would be filled in from the drop in.

i am pretty set on a line x and not a rhino....since there is no rhino dealer in my area, and there's a line x dealer like 10 min away. from what i hear everyone likes the line x better anyways.

Re: Line-X spray questions

just make sure they dont fill in the drain holes... mine got filled in just a little bit, but once it compeltly hardened, i just reamed it out. I tried reaming it out while it was still kinds soft and they just filled back in. I was impressed. good luck.

p.s. if you want to take a pic of the line-x- do it right after they do it... it looks soooo good right then, once its in the sun for a few months it tends to fade a little bit but still looks great. be careful not to stain it. I have some marks from that was in the back that i thought i would be able to was out but it got baked into it in the summer (egg, wax, shit like that)

Yeah, before I had mine done last week I compared a bed with linex and one with rhino (on the lot, I got the dealer to spray the bed for me). The line-x beds were almost slick when compared with the rhino. The bottom line is, though, it's your truck, and your money. Get what will make you happy.
