I have an 01 cavy, and my corners are connected to the headlight on the side. There is a little tab that you use a screwdriver or something to pry it off the headlight and it is a piece of cake from there.

ok so should we just stick a screwdriver between the headlight and corner light and just pop it out?

I took the picture, but it won't come out too well. Its too dark, and flash doesn't help...makes it worse. I will have to transfer it from one pc to another to get it up for you. It doens't exactly show the clip, but I can lable it so you can find the location of it. Hopefully it isn't much different in your model than in mine. I'll definitely have it up sometime tomorrow night. Been trying to get it up sooner, but not exactly easy between school and two jobs. Sorry for taking so long.

Sorry it took so long.

I couldnt get a good picture of it so I couldn't actuall show the clip, but where the line ends on the right is where the clip is on my 01. Once you see it you can tell how to get it off. No screws or anything else to take out. Putting it back in is easy. I used a screw driver to get mine off.

Like i said thats how it works on my 01...hopefully its the same for your model.

The clip is in that little hole that the line ends at. I don't remember which way the clip goes to losen it. I want to say it goes away from the headlight towards the corner light.

Heres what jbody.org says to do:

Installing clear corner lenses on a 95+ J-body
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Raise hood.

With a pair of pliers, remove the black fasteners securing the black shield in the front. There should be 6 - 7 of them. (To remove them, take pliers and raise the head of the fastener. Then pull the whole thing out.)

Remove black shield.

Remove the top bolts securing the head lamp assembly (they should both be located on top). Two per head lamp.

Remove head lamp gently without pulling too hard on the wires. It is not necessary to remove the light bulb.

Unplug the light from the side signal light.

Remove the three bolts that secure the side signal light.

Remove signal light and install clear corner lights. Change bulb if desired.

Reinstall head lamps and shield.

Re: how to install clear corners?

Just a hint you dont have to remove the headlamp or the black cover to get to the corner lens.. But that is just for 00-02.. Its a lil bit different for the 95-99.. sorry i cant tell you how to do though
