Chosing New Hood

I currently have the stock hood on my Camaro but it has a dent in it (to big to be pulled). None of my local junkyards have a hood with some sort of problem so I am going to buying a new one. I cant decide between the SS hood or Summits Ram Air hood. What do you guys think.

RAM AIR HOOD-

SS HOOD-

Re: Chosing New Hood

um, the ram air hood pic didnt load right or is wrong. which one is it? the T/A firebird inspired or one of the other ones. if its not the T/A hood i think i would go with the SS. IMO the other ones look dumb...

EDIT: nm, its right. i like the SS one better myself.

Re: Chosing New Hood

I like both hoods a lot but if it were me I would go with the ram air hood since you don't see a lot of them around...or atleast fewer than SS hoods.

Re: Chosing New Hood

actually i just ran through all my pics and i think that the only hood i really like is the SS or small cowl. the ram air you got there is actually better looking than the T/A one, but i still say SS.

I like em both. But I see that SS hood alot. Seems everyone around here(my town) has them. It's still a badass hood though.

Re: Chosing New Hood

I personally like the Ram Air Hood because it is different, alot of people have the SS hood, but I still cant decide. Chevyracincamaro any idea where to get those headlight covers... I have seen them on a few diffrent Camaro's and I think they look good on the lighter colored cars.

Re: Chosing New Hood

um last i heard a company named GTS made em. i think the company either went out of business or doesnt make em any more. i dont know, seem to remember something like that but the old memory aint what she used to be. either way, you can prolly pick up a set from ebay for pretty cheap.
