This sucks 2004 no switch to program keyless entry?!
Tried programming a new remote today (i only had one). Went and found the etac there is no switch on it. Looked at hyundai webtech and the etac is different from the drawing. On the side that the antenna is connected (left) there is no switch just a big white connector. On the right there was a black sticker covering a small opening. Took the sticker off and there is no switch there at all just holes in the circuit board where a switch could be mounted. Looks like i'm off to the dealer. This sucks.

I can't tell from your profile what model year you have (even though it wouldn't make a difference), but did you ever take it in to the dealership?
TS out

I am in the same boat. My 2005 Santa Fe has no switch. Called the dealership and they stated that the 2004 & 2005 Santa Fe needs to be hooked up to the computer to program all remotes. You may have up to 4 remotes programmed at one time. WIll charge you for 1/2 hour labor (approx $50 bucks). Bummer but that seems to be the only alternative...unfortunately.
