WTF! what the hell is goin' on here!?
Alright as you all probably know by now, my motor is out of the car...Well earlier tonight I was cleaning up the transmission case and i was scraping away all that dirt and shit so I could read that VIN and model #'s. Well as some of you know, when i first got my car damn near everything blew up. Motor CW'd, tranny blew, clutch blew...All at once somehow...Anyway I got everything fixed at the dealer. Well like i was saying, i was cleaning off my tranny and i read the model #.
F5M31 Now if i remember correctly that tranny is for a Mitsu Eclipse Spyder GS (2.4L SOHC motor). A GST tranny should be F5M33.......Correct? I didn't even know a 4g64 tranny could bolt up to a 4g63 motor. Did the dealer put the wrong tranny in my car!?

they will definately bolt up to each other since a 4g64 is just a bored out 4g63.

alright... but from what i have read, the gear ratios between the two are different.
