My 96 S surges so bad when it is put in any gear that it will die almost immediately if I'm not stepping slightly on the gas. If I baby it I can drive it to freeway speeds but if I accelerate very hard it will stumble and usually die. The Mazda specialists here in San Jose can't figure it out. I suspect the IAC/BAC valve or the PCM?? Can anyone help me figure this outr?
Thanks, Ron |

Your surging is cause by fouled spark plugs. If your engine is supercharged you may have your supercharger leaking oil into the Combustion chamber. replace your spark plugs and check the difference...is there a check engine light?
