Tricky stripping paint problem
I don't ask many question, but I have a small problem now.
I aplied some smoke Tamiya paint over a nice CF hood. I just wanted it to be darker. The first coat was great. then I put a second one.. Wrong ! the second coat is too dark now. I would like to strip the smoke paint, but keep the carbon (that took me 2 hours of work) Is it even possible ? Sanding a bit + clearcoat ? Thanks for idea.

Re: Tricky stripping paint problem
Lacquer
![]() Acrylic would have been easy to not hurt the decals.

Re: Tricky stripping paint problem
I found something
Try Automobile Coumpond. it will take much time, but you will remove the paint and it won't hurt the decals. Just did it, and it work
